How does the detection window for oral fluid testing compare with other methods?
What is Oral Fluid Drug Testing? Oral fluid testing analyzes a saliva sample for parent drugs and their metabolites. An absorbent collection device is placed in the mouth and the saliva collected is screened for drugs of abuse. Samples are checked to verify the saliva is human and undiluted. While some instant oral fluid collection devices may be available, note that they are often not properly cleared and are not sensitive enough to detect usage of certain drug classes. It is for these reasons that a laboratory-based process must be used in order to secure valid results.
Discover the oral fluid solution to modern drug testing. Simply and effortlessly collect the oral fluid sample and send it to the laboratory for next-day reporting on negative results and a to hour turnaround for confirmed positives. With urine-based testing, you are paying not only for test results, but also often for collection, scheduling, supervision, and training.
This test device can be used to test any of the drugs that show a non-negative positive result on an instant test. In many cases customers use this device with the Tcube saliva drug testing kits as the Tcube does not allow for direct confirmation. Using this device allows you to send in a separate sample for Confirmation or Confirmation with MRO testing for non-negative positive results. Our saliva drug testing devices have an advantage over urine drug tests as they are preformed directly in front of the person giving the test, eliminating shy bladder, adulteration and tampering. If not added the device can not be sent in until your account is setup and the forms and prepaid mailers sent out to you.
